Bryan Kuester, CMCA, AMS

President
Bryan Kuester joined the Kuester Companies in late 2000. Since joining the Kuester Companies, Bryan’s concentration has been to oversee the property management division of Kuester, where he has become the point-of-contact for any management questions and/or consultation.

VP of Association Management
Ben Rhodes brings with him several years of industry experience. He is a certified Community Association Manager as well as an officially designated Association Management Specialist, from the Community Associations Institute and is currently working to achieve his PCAM designation

Phil Mcleod, CMCA, AMS

Senior Association Manager
Phil McLeod joined the Kuester team in June, 2010. He has over seven years experience in community association management and holds certifications as a Community Association Manager and Association Management Specialist from the Community Association Institute.

Tameka Huger, CMCA

Director of Operations
Tameka joined the Kuester Companies in 2007 as an assistant community manager and was soon promoted to Director of Operations. She has been in the association management field for over 5 years. Tameka graduated in 2002 with a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Computer Information Systems from Charleston Southern University. She received her NC broker license in 2006 and received her certified manager of community associations designation in 2009. She oversees the day to day operations at Kuester and supervises the support staff.

Rita Barrett, CMCA, AMS

Association Manager
Rita Barrett has served as a Community Manager for Kuester Management for the past 4 years. She is a seasoned manager with over 7 years experience in the industry. She has earned both her CMCA and AMS designations. Rita hails from the great state of Indiana where she attended Indiana University at Bloomington as a criminal justice major. She has two children, Martell-20 and Jordan-12.

David Cline, CMCA

Association Manager
David Cline joined Kuester Companies in July 2010. He has worked in customer service for twelve years in his home town of Wilmington, NC. He has a bachelor’s degree in business management with a concentration in operations from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. David is fully dedicated in serving the clients of the Kuester management group.

Stephen Kowalczyk, CMCA, AMS

Association Manager
Stephen Kowalczyk joined the Kuester Companies in January 2007. Stephen has managed a diverse portfolio of SC & NC associations including multi-unit condominium and townhome projects as well as large single family communities with full amenity facilities. He has a BA in economics, earned his CMCA in 2009 and has been active in CAI events, sponsoring the winning “Outstanding Board Member” in 2010.

Jarrett Tran, CMCA

Onsite Manager Fifth and Poplar
Jarrett Tran serves as the onsite manager of Fifth and Poplar Condominiums, a 331,000 square foot, $80 Million luxury mid-rise residential and mixed use condominium development in Uptown Charlotte. He has a strong background in facility operations and management, property-level financial management, homeowner association governance, and luxury multifamily property management.  In this position, Tran is responsible for the management of 11 staff members, the management of 305 condominiums with 20,000 square feet of grocery-anchored retail, preparation and management of the property’s $1.5 Million annual operating budget, the oversight and direction of all vendors working at the property, and the negotiation of contracts to obtain the best terms and conditions for the association.

Brett Van Sledright

Marketing Manager & Community Association Manager
Practicing in key markets such as Boston, San Francisco, Sydney, Los Angeles and, most recently, Charlotte, Brett Van Sledright brings over 13 years of marketing and public relations experience to Kuester. A communications jockey with a penchant for clever marketing and PR, Brett’s broad B2B experience covers Fortune 500 technology companies, start-ups (pre-to-post IPO), analyst relations, product PR and corporate communications. Having a balanced background working in both agencies and in-house, Brett adeptly covers media relations, executive visibility, crisis management, technical writing and channel communications.

Julie Bonham

Project Accountant
Julie Bonham joined Kuester Companies, in June of 1994. Since she has been with Kuester Companies she has handled various accounting job responsibilities within the corporation. Julie has over nineteen years of accounting experience. In the past 16 years she has been involved in the corporate accounting, multi-family, commercial real estate accounting, as well as, property management. She currently handles the transition of new HOA contracts and various special projects.

Nancy McFadyen, CMCA, AMS

Operations Administrator
Nancy McFadyen is from the small town of Clinton in eastern North Carolina.  She moved to the Charlotte area in 1990 and began her career in the community association management industry. In May of 2009, Nancy became a member of the Kuester Management team.  Nancy has earned her CMCA® and AMS® certifications, and is active in the state’s chapter of Community Associations Institute.  She served on the Steering Committee in 2010 and 2012 for the CAI-NC Annual Conference, and was also part of the On-Site, Social and Resource Guide sub-committees.

Diedra Pinson

Association Manager
Diedra Pinson is a native of the Lake Wylie area. She began her career in the community association management industry in 2006 and joined the Kuester team in May of 2010. She has degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Graphics. In the summer time you can always find Diedra on the lake with her two dogs.

Transition & Education Manager
Melissa Merritt-Darden joined the Kuester team in November 2010 via the Jorel Association Management acquisition. Based in the Davidson office, she has over three years experience in community association management and holds certifications as a Community Association Manager and Association Management Specialist from the Community Association Institute. Melissa brings with her over 12 years of expertise in customer service.

Christina Blue

Community Manager
Christina joined the Kuester Companies in 2007. She is an Onsite Manager for a gated townhome & condominium community that is soon to be a capacity of 856 units in the South Park location. Christina has been in the real estate industry for over six years with previous work history with HUD in managing and marketing foreclosure homes for North and South Carolina. She has an Associates Degree in business and is continuing her education in Commercial Law.

Tresa Hudson

Assistant Manager/ Client Services
Tresa was born and raised in Minnesota and headed out West at 19. She has worked in customer service in Wyoming, Arizona and California. Five years ago, she joined Kuester Management Group as an Assistant Community Manager and works with Nickki Couick. In her spare time you will find her boating on Lake Wylie with Doug, her husband of 22 years. They have two sons, Jesse who was recently married and Derek who is attending college. She is looking forward to being a Great Aunt with the arrival of four babies in the coming months.

Laurie Cordes

Legal Coordinator/ Collections
Yet another New York transplant having moved to Huntersville in late 2006. Laurie started in her present position as Accounts Receivable/Collections Specialist in May 2007. Prior to that she spent 21 years working for a manufacturing company in the aviation industry. Having started her tenure as the Inventory Coordinator and ended as the Systems Administrator. During that time she handled a segment of procurement for production, provided employee software support, customer support as well as back up support for processing payroll, invoicing, customer orders and was part of the help desk team for the computer system.
Now she is enjoying life in NC!

Nancy Wong

Assistant Manager/ Client Services
Nancy Wong has been with Kuester Management since 2008. She is a valued member of the support staff that assists the Association Management team and is often the first voice that a homeowner hears. Nancy, who is fluent in Filipino and English, comes to Kuester with more than 10 years of customer service experience that has enabled her to consistently portray the company's core values of integrity, respect, professionalism, and communication. The mother of 3 is originally from the Philippines and has lived in the United States for more than 20 years. She attended Central Piedmont Community College and comes to us after having worked as a Customer Service Representative in Money Management Department for Bank of America Investments. In her spare time, Nancy enjoys spending time with her children and reading.
